PEGAS CrafTap – Start of Sales!

In April 2010 the Novosibirskprodmash Company starts the sales of its new product - cost effective growler filling systems PEGAS CrafTap. This system was developed to meet the demand of microbreweries and bars from all over the world that offer a draft beer-to-go service or are planning to offer such service if the problem of cost-effective beer dispensing would be solved. The Pegas CrafTap is based on the counter-pressure method, due to which this system has solved all common problems of draft beer dispensing into take-home containers (high amount of beer waste, slow dispense rate, loss of carbonation, etc). Thus, the distinctive features of the Pegas CrafTap are:

-reduction of beer wastage and the increase of keg yield up to 98%;
-increase of the filling rate (filling rate is about 2 ltr per 60 seconds);
-keeping beer saturation with CO2.

Besides, the system ensures sanitary dispensing and easy equipment handling. Other specific features of the PEGAS CrafTap systems are:

-its compact size (350 x 350mm of space is needed for its installation);
-possibility to use bottles of different size, with different neck diameter and even bottles with a handle.

The pilot samples of the PEGAS CrafTap were presented to the world beer community at the largest European trade shows - Brau Beviale 2008 (Nuremberg, Germany) and Drinktec 2009 (Munich, Germany).
