PEGAS goes to the AB InBev
The top managers of the Novosibirskprodmash, ZAO were invited by the AB InBev to its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium, on November, 18, 2009, to make a presentation about the PEGAS products for the AB InBev technical specialists.
At the meeting Novosibirskprodmash demonstrated its draft beer dispenser for PET bottles, PEGAS NovoTap, and a PEGAS Dragon beer tower along with its new product: PEGAS CrafTap, a system for foamless filling of beer into growlers. This presentation took place as a part of the AB InBev supplier search program for co-developing innovative products in the field of draft beer dispensing. Novosibirskprodmash demonstrated the work of its beer dispensing systems and described a unique market segment in Russia, a highly developed network of take-home draft beer stores, and the role the PEGAS systems have played in shaping and growing popularity of this type of beer sales service in Russia.
The invitation to the AB InBev headquarters was the result of the AB InBev representatives' visit of the Novosibirskprodmash company's stand at the Drinktec trade fair, held on September, 14-19, 2009 in Munich, Germany, and a successful completion of the first screening phase by the Novosibirskprodmash. The AB InBev has selected the Novosibirskprodmash from several leading manufacturers of beer dispensing equipment to participate in the screening process, with the presentation in Leuven being the second screening phase.
As a result of the meeting, the two companies decided to continue discussions about the opportunities to develop the concept of take-home draft beer sales now highly popular in Russia on the world scale.
